General Description
Penara/North Lukut is a shallow water producing conventional oil field located in block AAKBNLP, Malaysia, and operated by SapuraOMV Upstream (PM). The field is jointly owned by Jadestone Energy and Petroliam Nasional.
With peak production in 2005, the field has recovered 85.66% of its total recoverable reserves, producing around 9.99 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate.
Based on economic assumptions, production is expected to continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2036.
