Location: Nea Moudania is located in the same name city and the port itself is located at the start of the Peninsula of Kassandra and is 54 km from Thessaloniki.
General overview: Nea Moudania is the largest fishing port Northern Greece and one of the largest in the Mediterranean sea (more than 20,000 tons of fishes per year). The port of Nea Moudanion operates as an auxiliary to that of Thessaloniki and many cargo ships tie up in it. Also, the port hosts a Touristic Boat Marina and a Nautical Club. The port of Nea Moudania is a small commercial harbor that consists of the inner and the outer port. The outer port, which is mainly used by cargo ships, is protected by two breakwaters. At the NE shores of the inner port Marina Moudania constructed which consists of 3 floating piers.
