Location: Grenaa is situated on the E coast of Jutland, 60km from Aarhus. General overview: The port is open all year round. The harbour is divided into 6 basins. Container and Ro-Ro facilities are available. The principal exports are grain, seed, stone and paper while imports include coal, phosphates, saltpetre, oil, chemicals, wood pellets, wood chips, logs and paper pulp. Traffic figures: Approx 500 vessels and 1,300,000t of cargo are handled annually. Load line zone: Summer Zone for ships over 100m in length and Winter Zone for ships of 100m or less in length. Winter Nov 1 to Mar 31, Summer Apr 1 to Oct 31. Max size: LOA 190m, draught 9.2m.
