General Description
Location: The Kollsnes Terminal is located on the southern part of the island of Ooy, approx. 40km NW of Bergen.
General overview: Kollsnes LNG Terminal is an LNG export terminal operated by Gasnor, a joint venture of Molgas, Total and Equinor. The terminal has a significant capacity of 143,000,000 cubic metres (3.8×1010 US gal) of natural gas per day.
Aside from the terminal, Kollsnes also has two berths serving the Kollsnes Industrial Area, which handle general, project and Ro-Ro cargoes. The industrial area provides a strategic location for businesses in the energy sector due to its proximity to important transport routes and infrastructure.
