Location: The port of Kunda is situated on the N coast of Estonia, 20nm E of Tallin. General overview: The port is recently developed and is used mainly for the export of cement and timber pulp. Exports: Cement, pulp wood, timber, wood chips, peat moss and shale oil. Imports: Raw materials for sawmills. Traffic figures: Approx 600 vessels and 1,800,000t of cargo handled annually. Load line zone: Summer Zone for vessels over 100m in length and Winter Zone for vessels of 100m or less in length. Winter Nov 1 to Mar 31, Summer Apr 1 to Oct 31. Max size: Max LOA 150m, beam 30m, draught 8.5m.
