General Description
Location: Nanticoke harbour is located on the N shore of Lake Erie, 40km SW of Hamilton, Ontario. General overview: There is a large steelworks with a pier and conveyor for handling iron ore. Imperial Oil (Esso) owns and operates a refinery which produces a range of liquid petroleum products. Coal is supplied to Nanticoke Generating Station via a conveyor from the pier. This facility is ISPS compliant.
