General Description
Location: Bastia is located on the NE coast of Corsica, 70 n.m. SW of Livorno.
General overview: It has 3 harbours; Port Saint-Nicolas (Nouveau Port) the commercial harbour, protected by Jetee Saint-Nicolas, occupies the central and principal basin, to the S of it Vieux Port provides berths for fishing vessels and some small craft. The N harbour, Port de Toga, provides marina facilities for small craft. There are two offshore CBM moorings, Bastia-Sud Gas Terminal for gas carriers and Lucciana Oil Terminal for tankers.

-Quai Est: length: 245 m; draft: 7.5 m; remarks: Ro-Ro, dangerous goods.
-Poste 8: length: 150 m; draft: 9.0 m; remarks: Ro-Ro (dolphins).
Traffic figures: Approx 2,300 vessels, 2,400,000t of cargo and 2,200,000 passengers handled annually.
