Location: Gandia is situated approx 35nm S of Valencia.
General overview: Gandia is a Mediterranean Sea port on Spain’s southeastern coast which has suffered a great development in recent years growing considerably. The harbor area also can be divided into the area of the fishing port, marina and commercial port. The port has a water area of 30ha, with an entrance depth of 9.0m. The wharf is protected by a breakwater. The Port of Gandia handles general conventional cargo and specialises in the movement of goods such as reels of paper and pulps, timber imports and local agricultural products. It has an annual traffic capacity of 1.5 % of the entire port of Valencia.
