General Description
Location: Sao Francisco do Sul port is situated on the E side of Babitonga Bay on the W side of Sao Francisco do Sul Island in the N of Santa Catarina State.
General overview: There are berths for containers, Ro/Ro vessels, bulk grain vessels and vegetable oil tankers, an offshore tanker SBM is positioned S of the river mouth.

- Imports: Soya oil, reels (steel), wheat, PVC, petroleum products and wheat.
- Exports: Engine parts (motors), soya bean (chaff) pellets, soya oil, textile manufacturing, frozen chicken, tiles, tobacco and motor engine parts.
Traffic figures: Approx. 13,600,000t of cargo and 300,000TEU handled annually.
Load line zone: Summer.
