Location: The port of Syros is located on the E side of the island.
General overview: A breakwater protects the harbour, 400m length with depth at the entrance of 25-34m. There are two berths (one with length 103.0 m., depth 9.2 m., and the second berth with length 55.0 m. and depth 7.0 m) and a yachting marina with repair facilities available. The ferry port on the Greek island of Syros (Cyclades) connects the island of Syros with the Greek mainland (Piraeus, Kavala, Lavrio and Thessaloniki) and the islands of Kalymnos, Iraklia, Mykonos, Patmos, Crete, Amorgos, Anafi, Naxos, Kos, Symi, Rhodes, Paros, Ios, Donoussa, Ikaria, Andros, Chios, Folegandros, Fournoi, Samos, Kea, Kimolos, Kythnos, Leros, Limnos, Lesbos, Oinousses, Schinoussa, Serifos, Sifnos, Sikinos, Thira, Thirasia, Tinos, Milos and Euboea.
Traffic figures: Approx 360 vessels visit the port annually.
