Location: The Port of Tawau is situated on the eact coast of Sabah.
General overview: The Port of Tawau is a multipurpose port located in close proximity to Kalimantan Borneo, handling bulk palm oil, crude oil, and general cargoes, with timber being the primary export.
Petroleum oil products and LPG are discharged at Batu SPA Oil Jetty, located about 2km from Tawau town.
With its strategic location and ample business potential, the port is equipped with essential facilities to handle various types of cargo.
It is considered a major port on the East coast, second only to Sandakan port, due to the significant volume of cargo it handles.
