General Description
Location: The Prai Terminal is a part of the Port of Penang and located on the East Bank of Penang Strait.
General overview: The Prai Terminal consists of Prai Bulk Cargo Terminal (PBCT) and Prai Wharves.
PBCT handles dry & wet bulk cargoes, including dangerous cargoes in gaseous or liquid state, and encouraged the establishment of petrochemical industry in the Prai Industrial Zone.
Prai Wharves is one of the oldest terminals, handling Barter Trade cargo from Myanmar and Acheh, Indonesia, and serves as a location for bunker barges to refuel from the tanker lorries.
