General Description
Location: Rayong is approx 215km E of Bangkok Port and 84nm from Bangkok Bar and 7nm E of Map Ta Phut port.
General overview: The IRPC Port (previously TPI) consists of a tanker jetty with six berths handling petroleum, petrochemical products, and LPG for the refinery. To the W is a general cargo and container jetty with six berths handling coal, dry bulk cargoes and containers. A deep-water port comprising two main terminals, each having a finger pier with berths on either side. Terminal 1 handles liquid bulk cargoes including crude, petroleum products, LPG and chemicals. Terminal 2 handles dry cargo such as containers, dry bulk, metals, project, heavy-lift and breakbulk. Both terminals are operated by IRPC (Public) Company Ltd., in support of the adjacent refinery complex
