Location: The Port of Sandnes is located at the end of the Gandsfjord, 15km south of Stavanger, in Sandnes municipality, Rogaland county. General overview: The Port of Sandnes provides bulk, tanker, and general cargo berths, and liner and scheduled services to several Baltic, Northern European, and Norwegian ports. It is ice-free throughout the year, and there is a Statoil tanker berth available at Lura, 2km north of Sandnes, capable of accommodating vessels up to Depth 13.5 m and around 50 000 DWT.
