General Description
Location: Yeysk is located in the NE part of the Sea of Azov on the southern coast of the Gulf of Taganrog. It is approx 25nm NE of Kerch.
General overview: The port is a small artificial harbour consisting of a basin enclosed by 2 moles. The port handles mainly project cargoes, heavy lifts, containers, grain, general cargo and oil.
Traffic figures: Approx 1,500,000t of cargo handled annually. Load line zone: Summer Zone for vessels over 100m in length and Winter Seasonal Area for vessels of 100m or less in length, Winter Dec 1 to Feb 28/29, Summer Mar 1 to Nov 30.
