General Description
Location: Ceyhan is located on the N coast of Iskenderun Bay.
General overview: Ceyhan is an area within Botas Harbour Authority which consists of Toros Terminal, Botas Oil Terminal, BTC Terminal, Isken and Yumurtalik Nato port, see separate entries for details. The main oil terminals in Ceyhan serve as outlets for oil products and gas exported from Iraq by rail and pipeline. Toros is a multi purpose terminal with facilities for handling bulk carriers, tankers, container and Ro-Ro vessels. Isken and Yumurtalik are offshore terminals handling coal and oil products respectively.
