Location: The Port of Kanokawa is nestled on a picturesque island in the Inland Sea, situated just south of the bustling city of Hiroshima.
General overview: The Port of Kanokawa is a specialiazed tanker discharging port where liquid cargoes such as ethanol are handled at the berths. In addition, the port also receives fishing boats.
Please note that Kanokawa port is a "closed port," meaning vessels must complete necessary formalities at the last Japanese port visited or at Iwakuni before proceeding to Kanokawa.
Vessels can only berth and unberth during daylight hours.
