General Description
Location: Pozzuoli is situated to the N of the Gulf of Naples and 11km W of the city of Naples.
General overview: The port is protected to the S by Molo Caligolano which is connected to the town by a small bridge. The basin, trapezoidal in shape, can accommodate numerous small craft, larger vessels may use the Molo itself. Handling mainly wood pulp and passenger traffic to/from Gulf of Naples' Islands.
The structure consists of a south-western dock (which offers a good shelter from northern winds), 4 floating piers equipped with water and electric charging columns, and a dock provided with a short quay which protects the structure against southern winds. There is also a cliff located opposite the quay, from which start 3 jetties equipped with mooring rings and cleats.
The marina offers 250 berths for boats up to 65 m, in addition to an efficient 24-h surveillance system.
