General Description
Location: Nha Be Oil Port is situated in Southern Vietnam, 70 km. NW of Vung Tau and approximately 48 n.m. from open sea. Details cover facilities in District 7 (Phu My) and Nha Be District of Ho Chi Minh City that lie on the banks of Nha Be and Soai Rap rivers.
General overview: Nha Be is a subport of Saigon. The facility is situated at the are of 130ha with 5,00 m2 of warehouses and 700,000 m3 tank. The port mainly improts and export oil and gasoline products. Nha Be Oil Terminal is scale and modern technical infrastructure with total capacity of over 600,000 cubic meters. Tanks are equipped with the floats and are installed Automatic Gauge system; there are 09 wharves to be able to dock 40,000DWT ships to load petrol; Nha Be Oil Terminal is the function of receiving, storage, processing and exporting of petroleum products required by Petrolimex Saigon with capacity of import – export over 8 million cbm/ton per year.
Traffic figures: Approx. 8,000,000 tonnes of liquid are handled annually. 365 vessels call at the port in average per year.
