General Description
Location: The Port of Tagonoura is situated on the SE coast of Honshu, facing Suruga-wan, approx. 30km NE of Shizuoka.
General overview: The Port of Tagonoura's main commodities include woodchips, cement, maize, and petroleum.
The main wharves in the port area are:
The northwest section of the port area is Fuji wharf No.1-3 berth, 7.5 meters deep and 375 meters long, which is used for berthing 5000 ton ships.
Xuhuacheng private Wharf in the middle section has two berths, one of which is 170 meters long and 9 meters deep. The other is only 80 meters deep and 7.5 meters deep.
The south section is No.4 berth of Fuji wharf, 115 meters long and 6.5 meters deep. It can reliably berth 3000 ton ships.
On the North Bank of the port area is the central terminal, with five berths, including two berths of 10000 DWT and 5000 DWT, and two berths of 5000 DWT and 10000 DWT respectively.
Lingchuan wharf is located on the Northeast Bank of the southeast concave water area, with six 2000 ton berths and oil berths on the east bank.
